Today is the UTO collection for monetary donations, either in checks or with the blue boxes. This is your chance to help increase the $1.5 million in grants distributed this year around the world.
Send some joy and share the gospel with a child somewhere in the world by packing a Samaritan Purse Shoebox and bringing it to church by next Sunday, November 22.
The ECM will be providing dinners and gifts for four local families in need during Thanksgiving. Anyone can contribute. Checks can be put in the offering plate or given to Clarence Kunstmann by next Sunday, November 22.
Village Harvest 1 year anniversary is Nov. 18. Consider volunteering for the distribution. Comments from those who have – "Doing this work is a privilege", " I see this food distribution as a way to bring our community closer together." Book Group– reading Being Mortal, By Atul Gawande, continues this week and will meet at 5:30PM on Wednesday the 18th.
Adult Education on Sunday morning begins next Sunday, November 22, 10AM, with a study of Songs in Waiting by Paul-Gordon Chandler. Learn about the Christmas canticles (Mary, Zechariah, the Shepherds, Simeon), their background and enjoy related art.
