Welcome to St. Peter’s! May God’s love be present with you in this place and bring you back often. The communion bread is gluten free.
Thank you to all who made last week’s baptismal reception, Gospel on the River, An Evening of Flamenco, and the Village Harvest food distribution a success. St Peter’s rocks!
Happy Birthday! – Catherine Hicks, Tom Segar (Sept. 20), Trenton Schnakenberg, James Upshaw (Sept. 21), Peggy Roberts (Sept. 23), Robert Bryan (Sept. 24)
Godly Play for ages 3 to second grade continues at 10am.
A new Christian Education program, Weaving God’ Promises, for children 3rd grade up meets each week in Catherine’s study in the Parish House. Next week: The Tower of Babel. Key themes are communication, arrogance and the way to God. Adults are invited and encouraged to attend this study for their own take on this story and these themes.
Sign up for CPR Training on Saturday, Sept 26, 9AM to 2PM in the Parish House. CPR saves lives. Ask Dr. Andre Eglevsky, a Fredericksburg resident who collapsed while riding his bike . A woman who knew CPR found him and saved his life by performing CPR to keep his heart beating until help arrived. See Catherine to sign up. Maybe the best 5 hours you ever spent.
