Today is the distribution of 2014 pledge cards.  Commit to reduce hunger in this area; Commit to bring hope to this community and the world; Commit to bring comfort to those suffering in sickness or loneliness; Commit to help in Christian education and encourage fellowship. Commit to make a difference.  God calls us to share in God’s mission of caring for the world, using all the gifts God has given us.  Pledge cards are due next week – Nov. 17.

 

Today’s loose offering goes to Catherine’s discretionary fund, which she uses to help people in need in this area. 

 

In thanksgiving for our veterans, the Prayers of the People today include a Litany for The Armed Forces from The Royal Army Chaplains’ Department.
