In December, 2016, we had a lower turnout of 118. A number of people who were contacted did not show up.  It was close to our yearly average for 2016.

We gave out turnips, onions, spaghetti squash, packages of chicken, canned fruit, macaroni and cheese, etc. Our charges at the Northern Neck food Bank were $106.79 which included produce at $.07 a pound and mixed grocery and meat at $0.19 pound. Total pounds purchased were 821.

This month , we also provided jars of beans and had a luncheon for about 20. 

Yearly Statistics

For 2016, we served 1,402 people, 12,289 pounds of food. Average per month is just under 117 peopled.
For 2015, we served 975 people, 5,878 pounds of food. Average per month was just over 81 people

2016 shows a 144% increase in people served and 209% increase in food.
