September 21, 2016 – A Record Village Harvest!

We served 138 in September, 2016, a record number since we began this ministry in November, 2014.  You can see from the chart, numbers are consistenly higher this year when compared to last.   

Total served this year is 996 compared for the first 9 months of 2016 compared to 704 in 2015, a growth of 141%. Actual food distributed is more than double at 9,240 pounds in 2016 vs. the same period in 2015 at 4,565.The pounds per person, however, was lower – 7.69 pounds compared to an average of 9.2.

Cookie reports about their purchase as the Northern Neckl Food Bank – "Today we got 1,112 lbs of food. Cost $75.29. 573 pds free- Bakery goods, pumpkin . We have produce soup, fruit and chicken."
