Sat. Aug. 15, the culmination of the clothing distribution on Staten Island

After Thursday’s setup of the clothes, they serve families from the local shelter and to clients of Arbor, a near-by back to work program. On Saturday they serve all, families from all over Staten Island, NY.

At the end of the day on Saturday, they pack up the remaining clothing which typically will go to Healthy Families and to other agencies. The Scouts come back around 4:00 PM and help pack up and move all our equipment and boxes back on the truck and return to Castleton Hill Moravian Church. Eunice reports they served 1,295 people.

These pictures depict Saturday.
