Welcome, Bishop Goff. Today’s loose offering will go to the Bishop’s discretionary fund.
Thanksgivings abound today for the baptism of Marie Elizabeth Duke, daughter of Dave and Carolyn Duke. Pentecost, the day on which we celebrate the coming of the holy spirit to the disciples, is a great time for a baptism – since in our baptisms we are reborn by the holy spirit.

The Day of Pentecost
May 24 , 2015, 11am
“When the day of Pentecost had come, the disciples were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.”– Acts2: 1-4
