Spread the word! The Community Give on May 5 is a 24 hour day of giving to benefit local charities, sponsored by the Community Foundation . Last year nearly 5,000 people gave nearly $450,000 to participating organizations. Village Harvest– St. Peter’s is one of this year’s participants and we hope to raise money for our food ministry in the Port Royal area. A$10 donation will help provide 10 pounds of fresh produce to 20 people. Check our web page churchsp/food or the Community Give thecommunitygive.org/ and search “harvest.”

“’Why are you frightened, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet; see that it is I myself.’.. And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. While in their joy they were disbelieving and still wondering, he said to them, ‘Have you anything here to eat?’ They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate in their presence." – Luke 24:38-43
