Bishop Goff could not be with us this morning due to a death in the family. We extend our sympathies to her and her family.

Today’s loose offering goes to the Discretionary Fund, which Catherine uses to help people in need in our area with electric bills, rent and other expenses. Thank you for your ongoing generosity for this ministry

Today is the anniversary of the death of John Faibisy’s mother, Marion Faibisy. The Faibisys have made a donation to the church in her memory and we pray today for the repose of her soul.

Ladies Night Out, March 14, 6pm. Please let Bill Wick know if you are planning to attend and what food you are bringing. You will also need to bring a bottle of wine and the necessary serving pieces as well. Donation is $50 for two, $35 for one person. 

Shrine Mont Parish Retreat! Once again, Christ Church is inviting us to join them for a parish retreat at Shrine Mont, May 1-3. Please let Catherine know right away if you are interested so that we can let Christ Church know how many of us will be joining in.

On the Web–Daily Lenten Study began Feb. 18 –the Brothers of the Society of St John the Evangelist invite us to recapture time as a gift and discover how to experience the joy of the present moment. This week is a reflection on Work. http://ssje.org/ssje/time/ 

Noonday Prayer in the Parish House and Evening Prayer in the church at 7PM will take place every Wednesday during the season of Lent.  

 Next Sunday, 10AM in the Parish House– we’ll practice the Jesus Prayer. Our Eastern Orthodox brothers and sisters find this practice of prayer particularly helpful.
