Today’s loose offering goes to the Discretionary Fund, which Catherine uses to help people in need in our area with electric bills, rent and other expenses. Thank you for your ongoing generosity for this ministry.

Christmas Party at the Everett’s house on TODAY at 5PM. This gala covered dish dinner includes lots of delicious food, fellowship and singing (and a birthday celebration for Cherry). All are welcome.

ECW Christmas luncheon. Festive Gathering in the Parish House at 10AM on Tues, Dec. 16th, followed at 12PM by the ECW Christmas Luncheon (all are invited) at The Sandbar Restaurant in Tappahannock.  Please let Marian know if you would like to attend.

Village Harvest Food Distribution takes place on Dec. 17 between 3:30 and 5:00pm. If you can help pack the bags, please arrive at 2PM.

About our Eucharistic Prayer for Advent—Our Eucharistic Prayer during Advent will be Eucharistic Prayer 2 from Enriching our Worship 1. This Eucharistic Prayer contains the following mention of Mary. “You looked with favor upon Mary, your willing servant, that she might conceive and bear a son, Jesus the holy child of God,” lines particularly fitting for Advent.

The Christmas Eve service will be Dec. 24 at 4:30pm. This year we are incorporating a Moravian Love Feast into the celebration.
