Continuing – United Thank Offering Spring Ingathering.  Help spread God’s love by helping people in the world.  Deadline June 1.

Donate a book as a reward for completing SOL’s.  Children at Lafayette Upper Elementary in Fredericksburg are taking SOL’s this month. Please encourage an elementary school student with the gift of a book. The children are third, fourth, and fifth grade;  chapter books for ages 8-11 or so would be great.  Please leave them in the designated basked in the back  pew.  Thank you. Deadline, next Sunday.

Today, Lunch, 12noon to 12:45PM, program until 1:45PM.

We welcome Sally O’Brien of the Episcopal Church Building Fund to St. Peter’s for lunch and discussion.  From 12:45PM to 1:45PM she will share her ideas and then we’ll have some time to share ideas.  The program will end at 2PM.   More information about this organization, Episcopal Church Building Fund, can be found at the website ecbf.org.

3rd Annual “SHRED IT” Event, May 23, 4pm-5pm. This is an outreach fundraiser.  Use this occasion to clear out old file cabinets, boxes, folders and envelopes containing pay stubs, tax records, bank statements and receipts.  Suggested donation $5 per bag.

St. Peter’s has recently received  a $7,000 grant from the Mustard Seed Fund of the Diocese of Virginia to re-leather the organ bellows. Including donations to date, we only have $4,930 still to go.  Donations can be made to St Peter’s, with “Organ Bellows” in the memo line.
