Donate a book as a reward for completing SOL’s. Children at Lafayette Upper Elementary in Fredericksburg are taking SOL’s this month. Please encourage an elementary school student with the gift of a book. The children are third, fourth, and fifth grade; chapter books for ages 8-11 or so would be great. THIS FRIDAY, May 23 3rd Annual “SHRED IT” Event, May 23, 4pm-5pm. This is an outreach fundraiser. Use this occasion to clear out old file cabinets, boxes, folders and envelopes containing pay stubs, tax records, bank statements and receipts. Suggested donation $5 per bag.

St. Peter’s has recently received a $7,000 grant from the Mustard Seed Fund of the Diocese of Virginia to re-leather the organ bellows. Including donations to date, we only have $4,930 still to go. Donations can be made to St Peter’s, with “Organ Bellows” in the memo line.
