——————– Easter Week Services at St. Peter’s———————-
Wednesday, April 16, 7PM—TENEBRAE . This service focuses on words that Jesus would have prayed during the suffering in his own life. Yet his faith in God remained. The use of light in this service is powerful.
Thursday, April 17, 7PM—MAUNDY THURSDAY . At this service, we focus on the institution of Holy Eucharist, given to us by Jesus at the Last Supper, the gift of love in the sacrament of Christ’s Body & Blood.
Friday, April 18, 7PM—GOOD FRIDAY. This service is a time of prayer and reflection on own sinfulness as we meditate on Christ’s passion and death.
Sunday, April 20, TBA – SUNRISE SERVICE.
Sunday, April 20, 11AM – EASTER SERVICE. The service will begin with the lighting the paschal flame. We will carry the light of our Risen Lord and Savior into the church.

Fourth Sunday IN LENT
March 30, 2014, 9am
“The Miracle of Christ Healing the Blind" – El Greco (1560
"As he walked along, Jesus saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God’s works might be revealed in him. We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." When he had said this, he spat on the ground and made mud with the saliva and spread the mud on the man’s eyes, saying to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means Sent). Then he went and washed and came back able to see…" – John 9 1-7
