->Earthquake Fund – $1,075 contributed, $3,000 needed by early 2013  in order to match diocesan grant. 

 

Christian education continues on May 6 at 10am for both children and adults, who will meet together to learn about the world’s newest country, South Sudan, and the work of the Episcopal Church in that country.

 

Women’s Night Out!  May 12th begins at 6PM.  This entertaining fundraiser costs $20 per person.  Men, you get to cook—please let Bill Wick or Fred Pannell know what “dish” you intend to bring.  Reserve your spot by giving your money to Clarence Kunstmann or to Cookie Davis.  Questions—please contact Bill Wick, (804) 742-1218.

Easter Blessing

May Almighty God, who has redeemed us and made us his children through the resurrection of his Son our Lord, bestow on you the riches of his blessing. 

AMEN

May God, who through the water of baptism has raised us from sin into newness of life, make you holy and worthy to be united with Christ for ever. 

AMEN

May God who has brought us out of bondage to sin into true and lasting freedom in the Redeemer, bring you to your eternal inheritance.

AMEN

And the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be upon you and remain with you forever.  AMEN
