Today is Souper Bowl Sunday. Please help the hungry of Caroline County by placing a donation in the soup pots that the children will be passing around after church. Any checks can be made to St Peter’s with Souper Bowl noted on the memo line. The money will go to Glory Outreach in Bowling Green. We will note the number of canned goods donated today along with the money collected on the Souper Bowl website, joining our efforts with those of other churches all over the nation on this Souper Bowl Sunday.
Valentines for Caroline—Donate $5 to help the children of Caroline County and a lovely Valentine will be sent to a person of your choice recognizing the donation made in their honor. You can learn more about Caroline’s Promise, the sponsoring agency, by visiting their website, www.carolinespromise.com. Order forms are at the back of the church. The deadline to order valentines is Wednesday, February 8th.
Christian Ed classes for both children and adults meet at 10AM in the Parish House. The curriculum is “Living the Good News” for both children and adults and is based on the Lectionary. You can join the discussion at any time and not feel “behind”.
The children will resume their regular meeting on Wednesday, February 8th, at 4:45PM in the Parish House.
