Welcome to St Peter’s! Our hope is that you will find God’s love present with you in this place and that you will return here often to worship.
Today’s loose offering goes to Catherine’s discretionary fund. In the past month, this fund has helped people keep their electricity on. The money from this fund has helped a woman with three children who was living in her car get into an apartment. This fund has helped pay a person’s health insurance. Catherine uses all of the money in this fund help people in this area who are in desperate need.
We rejoice today as we celebrate the baptism of Hamilton Duke, the youngest son of Carolyn and Dave Duke. The altar flowers today are given in honor of Hamilton by the Duke family.
Please remember to bring non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry.
A big thank you to Helmut Linne von Berg, our own St Nicholas, and all who helped to make St Nick’s visit to St Peter’s this morning a success. We also thank Helmut for playing his violin during the prelude this morning.
Next Sunday is the annual Christmas Play. Several collections or signups that are ongoing are due next Sunday – Christmas gifts under the tree, tea bags to be donated, and signup for the Fellowship dinners for early 2012
