Want to know more about our website or have some ideas to make it better ? On August 21st 9am at the Heimbach residence next to the Church, we will navigate through the site explaining the content. August 27th, 4-6PM. Second Community Dinner. We will be providing a simple meal on the town green for anyone in the Port Royal area. Face painting and games for children! August 28th 10am. We will join with Hanover with Brunswick Parish across the river at Historic Lamb’s Creek Church constructed in 1750, or you may attend Morning Prayer at 10AM, led by Marilyn Newman here at St Peter’s. At Lamb’s Creek, step back in time and worship with the Book of Common Prayer, 1662, the order of service when the church was active ! Catherine will preach.
The service will be followed by a potluck dinner on the grounds. If you plan to stay for lunch, bring a lawn chair. Dress comfortably because the church has no electricity and is not air-conditioned. Lamb’s Creek is located off of Rt. 3 in the Sealston area. Heading from King George on Rt. 3, take a right on Lamb’s Creek Church Rd, and you will find the church a little way down the road.
