Welcome to St Peter’s! Our hope is that you will find God’s love present with you in this place and that you will return here often to worship.
Thank you to all who made the Community Dinner possible yesterday. And thank you to all who helped to provide food for the dinner following the Caroline High School Baccalaureate service on Friday night.
As part of the Offertory today, we will present the nonperishable food items that you have brought to share with the many families in the area who are in need.

Coffee Hour today in the Parish House after the service.
Christian Education meets at 10AM. The adults will be exploring the Gospel of Luke based on the book The Hidden Power of the Gospels by Dr. Alexander Shaia.
Ecumenical Bible study meets every Wednesday from 10AM until noon in the Parish House. We are studying the Gospel according to Matthew.
Mark 1:17 Class for those who would like to know more about our church will meet this coming Wednesday, June 8, from 7-9PM at the home of Barbara and Boyd Wisdom. Confirmation preparation for children is from 4-5PM on Wednesdays in the Parish House.
If you would like to become an official member of St Peter’s, now is the time to let Catherine know! Bishop Jones’ visit will be on July 10. He will be receiving new members into the church that day.
The St. Peter’s Men’s Group is having their first breakfast meeting on Saturday, June 11th, at Horne’s Restaurant, beginning at 8:30 am. All men of the church are welcome but RSVP to Bill Wick at 742-1218, by Thursday, June 9th.
ECW tour of Belmont, Thursday, June 16. Leave Peter’s at 9am for 10am tour. Lunch at Amy’s cafe and a visit to Libertytown afterwards.
Easter Blessing
May Almighty God, who has redeemed us and made us his children through the resurrection of his Son our Lord, bestow on you the riches of his blessing. AMEN
May God, who through the water of baptism has raised us from sin into newness of life, make you holy and worthy to be united with Christ for ever. AMEN
May God who has brought us out of bondage to sin into true and lasting freedom in the Redeemer, bring you to your eternal inheritance. AMEN
And the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be upon you and remain with you forever. AMEN
