Welcome to St Peter’s! Our hope is that you will find God’s love present with you in this place and that you will return here often to worship.
Thanks to all of you who supported African Team Ministries by purchasing items from the Craft Sale. All proceeds from the sale of the crafts go to help Episcopalians in East Africa. A little bit of money goes a long way to help the poorest of the poor in that area of the world.
Food Drive. Please bring nonperishable food items to help the many families in the area who are in need. Next Sunday, June 5th we will be bringing the food up during the offering as one of the gifts we bring to the altar.

Christian Education meets at 10AM. The adults are exploring the four Gospels in a new way based on the book The Hidden Power of the Gospels by Dr. Alexander Shaia. The current topic is the Gospel according to John. The children are learning about Eucharist.
Ecumenical Bible study meets every Wednesday from 10AM until noon in the Parish House. We are studying the Gospel according to Matthew.
Village Dinner this Wednesday evening, June 1 from 5PM to 7PM in the Parish House.
The Mark 1:17 class will meet Wednesday, June 1 at 7PM at the home of Stanley and Cindy Fields. If you are interested in learning more about the Episcopal Church and/or if you would like to be received as members of St Peter’s , please join us for learning, fellowship.
Celebration on the Green! Saturday, June 4 – 4-7PM on the Town Green–Our first community dinner for the residents of Port Royal, complete with free food and fun for the children. All are welcome—find someone you don’t know well and introduce yourselves. Invite that person to come to church with you next week.
UTO Ingathering next Sunday June 5. Remember to bring your Blue Boxes to church next week. The UTO Offering goes to help people in need all over the world.
Ascension Day is this Thursday. We will celebrate Jesus ascending into heaven next Sunday, the last Sunday of Easter. Meanwhile, a Christian tradition is to pray for the nine days before Pentecost (the Novenas). Please take the prayers provided for your daily devotions between Ascension Day and the Eve of Pentecost.
