Christian Education continues at 10AM. The adults are exploring the four Gospels in a new way based on the book The Hidden Power of the Gospels by Dr. Alexander Shaia. The children are learning about Eucharist.
The funeral for Mike Balabous, Terri Harrison’s father, will be held here at St Peter’s tomorrow, May 2, at 11AM, to be followed by a reception in the Parish House.
Evening ECW, rescheduled from last week, meets tomorrow, Monday the 2nd, at 7PM in the Parish House.
Ecumenical Bible study meets every Wednesday from 10AM until noon in the Parish House. We are studying the Gospel according to Matthew. Helmut Linne von Berg is the facilitator for the group this week.
The May Village Dinner is this Wednesday evening from 5PM to 7PM—Parish House. Shepherd’s Pie, Strawberry Salad, Green Peas, and Coconut Cake $7 per dinner, or 3 for $20.

Our 175th Anniversary is almost here. We will be celebrating the May 15, 1836, Consecration of St Peter’s Church on May 15th, 2011, only two Sundays away. Please plan to attend our festive 11AM worship service, a picnic on the grounds, and a special program focusing on the history of St Peter’s at 2PM.
Easter Blessing
May Almighty God, who has redeemed us and made us his children through the resurrection of his Son our Lord, bestow on you the riches of his blessing. AMEN
My God, who through the water of baptism has raised us from sin into newness of life, make you holy and worthy to be united with Christ for ever. AMEN
May God who has brought us out of bondage to sin into true and lasting freedom in the Redeemer, bring you to your eternal inheritance. AMEN
And the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be upon you and remain with you forever. AMEN
