We welcome you to St Peter’s.  Our hope is that you will find God’s love present with you in this place and that you will return here often to worship.

 

In thanksgiving for our glorious Easter music we thank our choir and our organist Brad Volland, and our guest organist Paige Martindale.  Our deep gratitude goes to Mary Lawrence Hicks, trumpet; Janette Corcellius, clarinet; Paul Wilson, guitar; and Stuart Jackson, bagpipes.

Christian Education at 10AM for all ages will resume next week.  The adults are exploring the four Gospels in a new way based on the book The Hidden Power of the Gospels by Dr. Alexander Shaia. 

Evening ECW meets tomorrow, Monday the 25th, at 7PM in the Parish House. 

 

Ecumenical Bible study meets every Wednesday from 10AM until noon in the Parish House.   We are studying the Gospel according to Matthew.   

Attention, all men of St Peter’s!  Bill Smith & David Beck invite you to a dinner at the Beck‘s home on May 7, 2011 at 5PM to discuss the possibility of forming a St Peter’s Episcopal Church Men group.  Please let David or Bill know of your interest.  If you plan to attend the dinner, please RSVP to David at (804) 742-5056, or to Bill at (804) 746-5340 by May 1st.   
 

Food Drive next week.  Please bring nonperishable food items to help the many families in the area who can’t go out.  The donations will be brought to the altar as part of the offering.
