Welcome to St. Peter’s! Our hope is that you will find God’s love present with you in this place and that you will return here often. Our communion bread is gluten free.

Next Sunday, July 6th, we will be joining St Asaph’s for worship at Pitt’s Pond. The service will be at 10:30AM, followed by a covered dish lunch. All are welcome. Morning Prayer will be held at St Peter’s at 11AM for those who would like to worship next Sunday but who cannot get to Pitts Pond. Coffee hour for July is cancelled. If you have questions, please give Catherine a call (540) 809-7489.

Happy Birthday – Ken Pogue (July 2)

FredCamp teenagers will be working on a house in the Rappahannock Academy area June 30- July 3rd. Thanks to Nancy Long, Becky Fisher, Mary Ann Betchy and Catherine Hicks for preparing lunches for the campers. If you’d like to help too, let Catherine know.

Today, 12pm to 3pm Salsaritas (10117 Southpoint Parkway) in Fredericksburg will be donating 20% of its proceeds to FredCamp. Get a great lunch and support FredCamp.

Vacation Bible School –for children through fifth grade will be held Monday, July 28 through Thursday, July 31, 10am-12pm. Please let Becky Fisher know if you are interested in volunteering and thanks to all who have already agreed to help.

Update on the organ bellows. We have $3,638 left to collect out of our $14,000 goal. Donations can be made to St Peter’s, with “Organ Bellows” in the memo line.

July 4 program schedule at St. Peter’s: 10am-12pm – Slides of St. Peter’s, Marilyn Newman, harp (11am) 12pm-12:30pm – Hymn sing, organ concert (Thom Guthrie) 1pm – Presentation – “St. Peter’s Past and Present”

July 4th provides a great opportunity to make St Peter’s presence and activities known throughout the community. The church is providing the lunch that day as a fundraiser and is also a site for part of the day’s program. We will be distributing updated visitor and historical brochures as well as a new publication on the graveyard. We thank Helmut for the new sandwich board that we will use to publicize these activities.
