1. BIBLE STUDY

The group, from various religious denominations, meets on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Meetings cease during the months of June, July and August. On occasion, someone coordinates a fun meal just to get the group together during the summer break.

In late 2010 and 2011 our readings will come from the gospel according to Matthew.  Our Old Testament readings will be from the great prophet Isaiah. In our midweek Bible study, we will be broadening our focus, using not only the lectionary readings, but also taking a broader look at the Gospel according to Matthew and the work of the prophet Isaiah. In addition we will periodically consider some thematic topics that tie in to the lectionary themes for that particular week. Those of us who attend the Wednesday Bible Study have a great time together.  We’d love to share this time with all of you, so please plan to join us!  Call Catherine Hicks (540) 898-1586, for more information. 

2. SUNDAY SCHOOL/EDUCATION HOUR

The curriculum currently is "Living the Good News " is a lectionary study for both youth and adults. It is available for seven age-levels (from nursery through adult), each published three seasons of the church year (fall, winter, spring), allowing all ages in the church to study the same Biblical passages each week
