Welcome to St Peter’s! Our hope is that you will find God’s love present with you in this place and that you will return here often to worship.

United Thank Offering! Please give your offering to Betty Kunstmann so that she can include it as part of the spring offering. This money goes to help people in need all over the world.
Bishop Jones will be visiting next Sunday, July 10th, and our service that day will be at 2PM in the afternoon.
The following people will be confirmed by Bishop Jones on July 10: Kimberly Fisher, Cheyenne Daye Anderson, and Tierra Carter. The following people will be received: Hugh D’Anguilar, Cindy and Stanley Fields, Roger Key, Brad Volland, and Barbara and Boyd Wisdom. We rejoice in their decision to join with us here at St Peter’s in serving our Lord and Savior. Please keep them in your prayers.
Please remember to bring canned goods and other non-perishable food for those in need here in Caroline County. Fred Pannell delivers all donated food to Caroline County Social Services for those who are in need. A basket is also in the back pew for donations of pet food which are shared with those people who are having financial difficulty in caring for their pets. You may place any donations for the military in the basket provided. The food that has been donated will be brought to the altar today to remind us that these gifts to those in need are part of our offering to God.
St. Peter’s Cookbooks have arrived. The ECW plans to sell the cookbooks ($12 each) at the 4th of July celebration in Port Royal, between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. One or two additional volunteers are really needed to assist with the sales. Can you spare an hour or less of your time on the 4th? If so, please call Barbara at 804-742-5224. Also, the ECW will hold a cookbook and bake sale on Saturday, August 6th, 8:30-1:00, at the Farmer’s Market in Bowling Green. Volunteers will be needed to provide baked goodies and to man the booth.
Village Dinner will be held July 6, 2011, 5pm. $7, 3 for $20. The dinner will feature oven fried chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, apple crisp a la mode.
During the month of August, our Sunday service will be at 10AM.
